This weekend you can find me in Kelsey Hutchinson Park for the Mountaintop Art Show Sat. 10-6 and Sun. 10-4. This premier event features 120 of the finest regional artisans in the cool mountain community of Highlands, NC.
Impasto style pieces
Lately, I’m giving my brushes a rest and I’ve been working with palette knives to create heavy, impasto style paintings. These pieces require a lot more paint and a lot more drying time, but I love the thick layers, texture and dimension that the paint creates.
